DIY - Hydrating Sheet Mask for Oily Skin!

Skincare is properly one of my most favourite topics to talk about and learn. Personally, I feel skincare is one of the most important steps in your everyday beauty routine. Keeping my skin clean and hydrated is my secret to youthful skin. As I am getting older, I want to take good care of my skin to prevent ageing skin at a young age. Cleansing my face and moisturising is a must in my daily routine to keep my skin in its best condition.

This winter I've been battling with hydrated oily skin. Some people may confuse hydrated skin to dry skin. They are both completely different conditions. Dehydrated is when your skin lacks water and dry skin lacks oil. Dehydrated skin tends to look dull and feels quite tight. Dry skin feels dry, flaky and rough.

As I've seen all over social media, sheet face masks are making a huge come back. You can find sheet masks all over Sephora, Mecca and beauty stores. The sad part is, they are super expensive! I thought why not create my own customised sheet mask tailored to my skin needs. This way I can control what ingredients are in my sheet mask and save some money too! After using one of my sheet masks I've made, instantly my skin felt revived after one use.

Supplies:

Mario Badescu Cucumber Toner
Mario Badescu Rose-Hip Toner
Ole Hendrickson Activated Oil
Alpha A liquid Gold Toner
Compression Mask Tablet

Step 1: Select all skin products you would like to use in your sheet mask.

Step 2: Add the base - I am using Mario Badescu cucumber toner for my base.

Step 3: Base layer - Mario Badescu Rosewater toner because I love the hydrating effect this leaves my skin after use.

Step 4: Oil - This oil leaves my skin feeling hydrated and nourish. Feel free to use any oil, don't let the oil scare you, my oily skinned friends! It's great for your skin.

Step 5: Add in the Compression Mask Tablet and let the products soak in for a couple of minutes.

Step 6: Your sheet mask is ready! Unfold carefully and place on face for at least 10 minutes or longer if you desire.

Step 7: Remove from your face and rub in the excess product into your skin. Now you should have hydrated soft baby skin. :D

Let me know down in the comment box if you have created your own skin facial mask or sheet mask. Would love to know your thoughts. :)
